Since most, if not, all modern laptops have USB-C nowadays, do you bring around a power bank for when you need to charge your laptop? If so, which do you use?
You need one that has power delivery and enough output otherwise it won’t work or provide enough power.
I use the Anker 737 PowerCore 24K. I’ve had it for 15 months and it’s been incredible for all this time.
I have this one too. Funnily enough I don’t even use the outlets in my house anymore… I just use the powerbank
Yea I got me one after I got a Macbook Pro M1 for work a couple of (~3) years ago. The name it goes by is “POWERBANK PLUS MACBOOK 20.100 MAH SILVER XLAYER”. But the battery life of the M1 MBP is just good enough that I only needed it once to charge the laptop, in all that time. Smartphone (iPhone 12 Mini) is the much much much larger problem. :)
Yes. 20k mAh Baseus with 65W fast charge support
Literally no gaming laptop has usb-c, what are you talking about with “most, if not all”?
Not true. There are plenty of gaming laptops with USB-PD (for instance, the Lenovo Slim 7i sitting beside me that I’m currently upgrading for a friend and my ROG G14).
My legion 7i from last year has USB-C charging
Interesting take, but not very correct.
I have one cause m chips battery tanks the 2nd u connect anything usbc to them
Even just a flash drive think I got 6ish hrs using a dongle 😾
I’m using a Ugreen Power bank with 145w output. Since the battery of my 2017 Mi Air Laptop is effectively toast, I’d say the power bank is a great lifesaver.
looks at laptop then at power bank then laptop again Chief…I don’t think a my laptop would run on that for even 10 seconds.
Dewalt usb c PD kit. Provides 100w output power for devices. Uses modular tool batteries as the power source.
Imuto 160w usb c PD power bank. I use this on planes for keeping the phones charged.
I do because my laptop battery is crap

My portable work/document setup has a Surface Go and it charges slowly with a 20W powerbank. It can even power my portable monitor at the same time. The device is supposed to use a 65W charger but those higher wattage powerbanks are expensive and I’m fine with a slow ass charge time as long it doesn’t lose charge while working.
I don’t but I’m currently searching and filtered it down to Yoobao EN1 Gen 2. It has 65W PD (20v) for power efficiency since my laptop can charge at 65W but when I want to game at 90 - 100% load it has a 220V 150W AC output. There are higher-capacity powerbanks out there but this powerbank is the only one that has cylindrical cells. The higher density powerbanks use Lipo pouch cells which has the issue of swelling over continued use over time.
