If the oled Deck had Thunderbolt I would finally get rid of my PC as the most high-end component needed for a pc is graphics card, cpus are more forgiving

    It will come with SD2, including a new dock with integrated AMD eGPU and a “docked operation” mode for the CPU. There will be a new connector between SD and dock.

    For SD1 the CPU limitation and thermal design is not in favour of eGPUs. See ETA prime test on YT e.g.

    Why do you want usb4/TB on a deck? the CPU is too weak to drive any modern powerfull GPU efficiently, eGPU support is limited to Intel ARC and Radeon if i remember right, NVIDIA is out due to SteamOS specificities

    If you want something similar, boot from sd card and use m.2 to oculink adapter
