You’re missing the point. As a user who moved from a phone with a pop-up camera, the hole punch is not even distracting or obstructing any major content. If hole punch is the only thing letting u back, then buddy you’re not seeing the bigger picture of what lies beyond that…

Personal preference I guess. I had a phone with a notch and it was so awful. I couldn’t stand it. After 2 years I got a Samsung S22 and sold the other phone. Usually I keep my previous phone as a backup but I didn’t even want it in my house because it looked so ugly to me, lol. I like the hole punch. I also like the A series teardrop. I wouldn’t mind if phones retained a bigger bezel until they progressed enough to make an under screen invisible camera. Bezels aren’t inherently bad IMO, as long as they serve a purpose. And they used to add character to phones, honestly. I liked it when the bezel color matched the phone rear plate color.

I made a post about this a long time ago and got shit on for it lol. I wouldnt mind losing the selfie camera all together on a flagship phone. I have used it maybe 2 times ever… I mean how often are you people taking selfies anyways?

Just get dynamicSpot, makes the hole way more useful like the Dynamic Island from Apple. I use it a lot when I hear e.g. music and switch to other apps. You can also add a black bar instead of a hole but that probably wouldn’t be a good idea cause it looks like shit. Compared to other manufacturers, e.g. Apple you have way more screen. Sadly we can’t put it under the display currently as the image quality isn’t very good, so the small hole is actually one of the best solutions without taking anymore internal space for other machanics, e.g. like in the A90

I don’t mind it at all. So would you prefer a phone with no front camera?

I used Pixel 5 for 1 week, I loved the phone… but battery life was pathetic, even the charging also takes hours… Returned it and got the money back, but now i miss side hole punch design… It is far better than centre hole punch
