Now with all the trade in deals and edu offers, i can grab the s23 ultra for $600. If i were to wait for s24U, i feel its gonna be very long time and unlikely that similar offers that im getting now be available for the s24U when it launches. Can figure out whats worth doing now?
Edit: will samsung offer enhanced trades and offers when they release s24U, did anything happen when s23 was released
I’m planning to wait for the S24 Ultra, but only because my Note 10+ is no longer going to receive security updates and it seems better to buy a new phone that’ll have 5 years of updates rather than get one that’s a year old and only have 4 years of security updates.
For S23 vs S24 I don’t believe the difference in price is gonna be that far off when considering promo trade-in values and the free upgrade for pre-orders (assuming they offer that again), but by the time Samsung announces the actual cost and deals of the S24 Ultra, the S23 Ultra won’t be on sale anymore. There’s literally no way of knowing whether buying now or waiting is gonna be a better deal because we have no deal to compare with yet. Do you absolutely need a new phone right now? If yes, then buy it. If not, then just wait.
