Do both get the s23 now then in a few months trade it in for the s24

Just wait, not because the s24 will be better but when the new phone comes out the older one will drop it’s price and you will have a direct comparison and can go for the one you like.

Ofcourse if you get s very good offer like Black friday etc then go for the s23u, its my current one since april and i have to say its perfect so far i have had no complains about anything. Depending on where you live and samsungs strategy you may only find exynos which always performed worse than its it SD counterpart.

I don’t know bro, looks like S24 series are only focused on AI (and of course upgraded chip) but still same on other hardware. Options: (1) buy Galaxy S23 once S24 comes out for much more discounts, or (2) buy Galaxy S24 on the first month after release for the different promos.

Currently, I have a OnePlus 7pro. If you’re looking for a phone that will last longer, I would wait since it is most likely going to be released in January/February and you’ll get longer support for the newer model

I’m planning to wait for the S24 Ultra, but only because my Note 10+ is no longer going to receive security updates and it seems better to buy a new phone that’ll have 5 years of updates rather than get one that’s a year old and only have 4 years of security updates.

For S23 vs S24 I don’t believe the difference in price is gonna be that far off when considering promo trade-in values and the free upgrade for pre-orders (assuming they offer that again), but by the time Samsung announces the actual cost and deals of the S24 Ultra, the S23 Ultra won’t be on sale anymore. There’s literally no way of knowing whether buying now or waiting is gonna be a better deal because we have no deal to compare with yet. Do you absolutely need a new phone right now? If yes, then buy it. If not, then just wait.

The s24 ultra is rumored to not have the 10x camera that the S23 ultra has.

The s23 ultra has a .6x, 1x, 3x, 10x. The 10x is about 230mm zoom, which I really like.

Also, the s23 ultra’s screen curves down at the edges, so it looks like there are no bezels. The s24 is rumored to have a flat screen.

IMO, the rumors for the s24 ultra indicate a device that takes a few steps backward relative to the s23 ultra.

Is it worth waiting for the regular S24? I want to get an S23 now but can’t find a good deal.

If you need a smartphone NOW, the S23 ultra is good, so is the entire S23 series.

If you don’t, you can wait, the S24 ultra could be better, but could not be, we actually don’t know.

The best is wait for the s25 ultra, it will be announced next year…
