I am using my S10+ for 4 years now and I have no reason to get a new phone apart from the lack of updates. It feels old without updates, if you understand what I mean. What is a big downside for not getting any updates anymore? Security maybe?
Coming from Apple my old IPhone was supported for what felt like ages.
I could spend the money on a new phone but I don’t really see the point. I don’t want to spend it just so I can get new updates. The S10+ just feels perfect, it’s crazy to me how good the battery is + performance and everything else. The phone also just looks good. It has no fault apart form regular updates.
Could you maybe list some reason why I should get a new phone or why I should still wait.
My S10+ recently fell and broke, wasn’t planning on changing it but fixing the screen is expensive and worth the price of another S10+ so I decided its time for another, got the S22 base model, honestly the difference isn’t that great , it’s good but not great , better cameras, smoother navigation ( 120hz )
My advice if your s10+ still works and you’re not interested in these new features ( cameras, screen refresh rate, brighter screen in sunlight, better performance overall) there’s no need , The S10+ is still better than many phones that came out in 2022/2023 like the A,M series , redmi realme etc…
