I am using my S10+ for 4 years now and I have no reason to get a new phone apart from the lack of updates. It feels old without updates, if you understand what I mean. What is a big downside for not getting any updates anymore? Security maybe?
Coming from Apple my old IPhone was supported for what felt like ages.
I could spend the money on a new phone but I don’t really see the point. I don’t want to spend it just so I can get new updates. The S10+ just feels perfect, it’s crazy to me how good the battery is + performance and everything else. The phone also just looks good. It has no fault apart form regular updates.
Could you maybe list some reason why I should get a new phone or why I should still wait.
I use a S10e as my second phone. Yes, there are like 2 OneUI 5.1 features that I miss, but that in no way makes the phone obsolete. If the phone still fits your needs go and keep it as long as you want. Don’t mess with apps outside the Play Store and suspicious sites (or use Samsung browser with AdBlock) and you should be fine regarding security.
