Hi, The release of the OLED kinda got me interested and now im considering selling my Switch OLED which is collecting Dust and since Pokemon Games become worse and worse theres no Point for it.
Usually im invested into new Tech instantly and wouldnt hesitate but i recently just got a new 4k OLED PC Build with 7800x3d and a 7900XTX so im curious if its even worth it. Id mainly use it while waiting at Work or if im in Bed maybe emulate some old Pokemon. Is the 720p Screen a letdown or does it look crisp in Person on AAA Games? Id hate 30fps probably wont touch Games that cant run 60.
Money is not a big factor i just wanna avoid having it collect Dust like the Switch.
Also would it be good to Coop with my Girlfriend? I mean its using my Steam Account but with Family Share do we get to enjoy some Titles? Prolly to uncomfy for Baldurs Gate 3 but more Casual Games maybe? Opinions?

Then the Deck isn’t for you. It can run old games at 60, but nothing new. Same goes for all handhelds. Ally, Legion, chinese botique handhelds, all of them involve last gen games on low settings at sub-60 fps. The hardware just isn’t there to support current gen at 60 natively. There’s a reason why we typically cap to 40fps around these here parts. It’s because it’s all handheld hardware can handle.
Now, you *can* stream from your 7900xtx to an OLED deck to get the full 90fps the OLED screen is capable of, while you lie in bed in decadent comfort, but running natively? You’re looking more like 30fps in most current gen games.
