I’m planning to get a new phone but not sure if I should get the S23 or the S23 Ultra. I know that the ultra has better things but is it worth the few more hundreds I’d have to spend for it? Or am I better off getting the S23. (I’m mainly focusing on camera zoom and storage.)
Think about the S23+ or S24+ if you want 512GB storage like you can get in the Ultra. Although if you want 10x zoom, well, then the Ultra is your phone. However, if you go Ultra be sure you are OK with carrying a big, heavy phone around all the time. I’m also not a fan of the curved edge screen on the 23 Ultra, but maybe you are. The 24 Ultra is rumored to have a flat screen.

Camera zoom the Ultra obviously wins hands down. But it’s a Huge phone, I’m more then likely going to downsize to a S24/+ when they come out. I’ll miss the zoom but the ultra is just too cumbersome to carry around and use for me.
you better be in the USA, otherwise the S24 Exynos is going to be a downgrade to your S23.
I am. Either way I’m not a high horsepower user so doubt I would see the difference. Camera is my biggest use.
How much better do you want it? cameras on flagship phones are that good today that it is very hard to improve them in anything substantial. I don’t think you would find any real world difference on that regard.
I’m not sure I follow your questions, has nothing to do with what I posted? Are you saying the is no difference between the 10x optical of the ultra and the 3x of the 23/23+?
If price is an issue, go for the S23 or S23+
Otherwise, the Ultra has a great camera and Battery life is superb.
