I’ve been on the lookout for a screen replacement [full kit] from iFixIt for the past month or so, but has been out of stock for the longest time, they do however have the screen replacement [parts only], can I buy this and replace my screen?
I have some precision screwdrivers, and prying tools at home, but no thermal paste, no screen adhesive, no suction handle, and the rest of it, can I successfully replace my screen without these? or is having these “a must”?

You don’t need thermal paste, but yes, you’ll need a suction cup, adhesive (if it doesn’t come with it), and a heat gun / hair dryer, as well as something to cut the adhesive. I recommend playing cards as they are less likely to cause any damage than a pry tool.
So i’d rather wait for the full kit to be back in stock I guess? I’ve been too long without gaming on the couch
