I hope this question hasn’t been asked before. If so, apologies and just point me to the relevant link.

I want to export files to my computer in a way that allows me to re-import these files at a later date and have the files still be normal reMarkable files. If I turn them into a PDF when I export them, I assume they come back onto the tablet as a PDF which means I can’t erase or edit the original document.

I use the tablet for lecture notes (I’m a teacher) and I want to use it to save old notes, call them back for a later class and edit and refine them like any other document and it seems I can’t do that with a PDF.

Any advice is appreciated.

Yeah, this is sadly another of these features where it’s hard to believe that rM haven’t implemented it natively.

I’ve been wanting this since I first got my rM1 a long, long time ago (much more than e.g. straight lines, which are happening in an upcoming update); here’s to hoping it’ll happen eventually.
