So I’m using my steam deck mostly docked, with m&k, and I was wondering if there’s any reason and or benefit from playing in gaming mode docked, rather than in desktop mode?

Slight benefit in memory since game mode doesn’t have to load the desktop environment. Game mode also scales up older games to full screen very well. That’s all I can think of. Desktop mode lets you multitask much more easily.
