The latest update has turned the Game Launcher into the Gaming hub. Ads and “recommended” games take up 90% of the screen space - installed games are almost hidden, way at the bottom.

They’ve slowly been shrinking that space for years - looks like they finally got what they wanted.

Would’ve posted a screenshot if the rules allowed it.

yeah, it’s shit. I am thinking of uninstalling this “gaming hub” and either find another app, or idk just put it in a folder. The main thing was that the game launcher took care of automatically adding all games in one place and handling any need for sign-ins.

Lol that’s what I did. I went back in time to the “caveman era”, made a folder on my homescreen and labelled it " 🎮 "

It keeps all your games in one place. You can choose to also hide them from the main apps list, so they only show in game launcher.

Additionally, it comes with a few useful tools & quick shortcuts, such as idle mode, performance optimization, screenshot & video capture.

I switched to OXO launcher on the playstore the moment samsung startet turning it into an ad platform. It does most things just as good and is almost adfree.
