During the Galaxy Unpacked event this year, S22 256 GB (base model, not Ultra) was around EUR 669 here. So I am guessing S23 will reach that price (x exchange rate). Or you can try the waybackmachine, and see if you can find the price for S22 on Indian Samsung website on 1st February.
haven’t even installed OneUI 6 yet, the notification (and simps) can keep crying all day. It just looked half-assed, there are issues with apps having to be reinstalled, and there are constant releases to fix existing bugs. Hopefully Samsung listens, but doubt it.
I sometimes forget, sometimes I just need something on the browser to read later offline (helps that Chrome gives you “grouped tab” feature).
yeah, it’s shit. I am thinking of uninstalling this “gaming hub” and either find another app, or idk just put it in a folder. The main thing was that the game launcher took care of automatically adding all games in one place and handling any need for sign-ins.
If the 1349 was after discount, then Samsung is not calculating trade-in deduction from that price. They deduct trade-in from the MRP before discounts.
I am waiting to see what S24 is like, and I would say it’s better to buy S23 then as well, preferably from Samsung website itself. I might go with S23, if there’s nothing special about S24. They give out a ton of offers, and maybe the 5% cashback or thereabouts applies to last year model during the Unpacked Event. In Feb last year, S22 was around EUR 600, so I hope S23 gets to that price from Samsung itself. Don’t want to experiment buying S series phones from third-party retailers.
If you can trade-in any of his existing devices (you will first get the new phone, gift it, and then start the exchange process, but maybe have an “off-handed” talk if he does have any device he can give up), you can probably get him a S23U, maybe 256 GB only.
S23 is alright, maybe should cost a little less because it the base model. If he is okay with bigger phones, then S23+.
if you’re comparing with iphone 13, or even 14 (and maybe even 15), S23 is worth its price. Within the S23 series, I feel that S23 should drop further. But you might’ve gotten a good discount. In any case, compared to whatever iphone 13 sells at, you got a better deal with S23.
Live and learn. At least it was an A-series, not an S-series. People here breaking their S23 Ultra screens, only later realising, “shoulda been more careful”. The temper glass/case stuff, it’s just to protect from absolutely arbitrary bumps. But you didn’t lose too much. At least not as bad as people spending 1000$+ on an S-series and then breaking it next day.
SmartSwitch seems perfect for syncing/new device setup. But if there are some apps missing on the Tablet, it will have to be installed first - usually, when you do a SmartSwitch in that case, when you tap the app icon placed after SmartSwitch on the Tablet, it will first download and install it.
They wanted to promote their own garbage on their online store or whatever the hell it is.
