Is this just Australia? Google Maps updated and it’s revolting. Looks more like Apple Maps now but not as nice. What’s going on?

Yeah I hate it too. It actually makes it harder to discern between motorways and roads, as well as water and parks. What on earth are they thinking? The poor contrast between colors is infuriating, it’s making me use Apple Maps and Magic Earth more lol.
