Just a few minutes ago, I refunded my 1tb OLED in favor of the limited edition, it’s still in stock and sold without any issues! Go for it if you want it! Seems as if they made more limited edition ones than originally thought. Don’t fall for any scalpers!

Because of your sage advice I actually was able to snag the LE just now even hours later :)
I thought I was able to purchase one 30 minutes past the release, took 3 hour flight, an hour to chill at home - just checked and bought the LE without issues.
I thought I wanted the LE but the Blacked Out version compliments the OLED better, and also looks way more badass.
Wished they offered a 512Gb limited Ed with the glossy oled for $30 more than the regular 512Gb oled.
I would have hopped on that in an instant.
My only concern about the limited edition is the clear case. I had a gaming handheld with a transparent frosted and it developed cracks but I never dropped it… If it wasn’t for that I would have bought it as it’s gorgeous

I’d be curious to know if there is any indication in the system settings that distinguishes the LE vs normal oled models. If not, I don’t see why people wouldn’t mod normal oled models to look exactly like the LE and try to scalp it lol.
