with oled steam deck there’s only slight improvements, think I will wait it out until steam deck 2 is released with a faster cpu and new gfx chip.

It’s not only slight improvements. It’s pretty big improvements on everything but raw game performance.
And SD 2 is late 2025 at the earliest.
