Every review other than this one for the Portal that I’ve read has said “We don’t know why this exists, you can only use it in your own home and you could do the same thing with a controller and a smartphone. It doesn’t seem to be better and might actually be worse.”
IGN’s weird. IGN’s always been weird. I’m not sure how they’re getting “Best current solution” unless they just haven’t used any other solution.
