I keep reading that the switch to USB on iphone is great because now we can carry around just one charger.

Is this really the case for most people? My MacBook is USB C, but other than that and my Nintendo Switch I don’t think I own anything that uses USB C - at least not stuff I would consider daily carry.

Airpods pro - lightning/wireless Ipad - lightning Apple watch - proprietary charger

Don’t get me wrong, I like the switch to USB, but for me it means one more cable.

I’m mainly USB-C on everything except my AirPods Pro 2 with the lightning case. It’s been okay for me though since I still have an Apple Watch charger around, so that same charger will charge the case. I also frequently use a 3-in-1 MagSafe anker charger that connects via usbc so I also usually charge it on the wireless charging pad behind the MagSafe charger or on the Apple Watch charger.
