I used to write everything on a notepad. I had many through the years and moved to notetaking using the laptop. I tried Onenote, Apple Note, notion, and Evernote…but I couldn’t solve two problems:

  1. Distraction
  2. Info retention

So I got an iPad with paperlike, so terrible to write, heavy, and not distraction free. This week, I’ve tested the rM2 and Note Air 3c. I’m keeping the remarkable. Why?

  1. Lighter
  2. Minimalistic
  3. Mac/phone/Windows apps are amazing
  4. Extension is superb
  5. I can type notes on my laptop if needed using the app.

Ready: Have a small Kindle Paperwhite. 10.3 is too big and heavy to hold and read.

Note air is good, but everything has an extra step. Remarkable is just remarkably simple and useful.

I agree, I returned my supernote. Everything down to the actual product of the remarkable is just that. The supernote is more like a bulky, plastic tablet feel with a super bulky pen.

Remarkable is great, I used Supernote and it’s good but I prefer how easy and simple everything is on RM.

Can I ask, how did you find the Boox screen for writing feel compared to the Remarkable?

It is almost the same for me. Latency is super close i can’t tell the difference and the feel is the same. I dont like the boox screen color, kinda grayish when only in black and white.
