Supernote: Tried it, it’s great, but 1. no easy eraser pen, 2. prefer feel of RM, better screen writing and easier to use/figure out overall 3. Much better, easier to use desktop/iphone syncing on RM

Kindle: Seems more basic, more geared for reading than RM - but I haven’t tried it.

Boox: The Note Air intrigues me, but I don’t see an easy way to sync it between my Mac and iPhone.

RM still does what is wonderfully. It is starting to fall behind on some features though, and I would be very interested in a RM version 3.

Remarkable is great, I used Supernote and it’s good but I prefer how easy and simple everything is on RM.

Can I ask, how did you find the Boox screen for writing feel compared to the Remarkable?

The Remarkable is a wonderful replacement and upgrade for paper notebooks.

Do you use lots of notebooks throughout your studies?

If so, the Remarkable will let you consolidate them to one pretty easy to use device that feels quite close to paper. You then get some added benefits like copy and paste, quick erase, and the ability to browse and export your notes on the computer or mobile. The only thing lacking compared to a regular notebooks is easy color (it does have greyscale, and red and blue that can be seen on the computer).

It is NOT an iPad replacement. So it can’t do fancy apps, lots of images, video etc. It’s a paper notebook on steroids.
