My laptop broke a few weeks ago after a few years. And I’m thinking of getting a steam deck (and install windows) I mainly used my pc for gaming and for CAD work (mostly inventor also some AutoCAD) Can the steamdeck Handel those programs?

    Absolutely. We’ve run Creo on it with no issues and done Deck design work on Decks, yo dawg. Don’t know about Inventor or AutoCAD on Linux, so you might need to install Windows for them.

    It will run. But it won’t be any better than any random AMD laptop. Wouldn’t recommend it as a primary use case.
