I’ve had my Note 8 for around 5 years, and the battery is not holding it’s charge anymore, it’s getting pretty sluggish, and - forthe first time in 20 years - I dropped a phone and cracked the screen. Grr.

So anyway, I’ve opted for a refurb Galaxy Note 20.

All of the above is pretty irrelevant - but I just want to know how easy it will be to transfer everything from old phone to new?

I mean things like S Notes, Google Authenticator, stuff like that. I’ll have access to the Note 8, so not too worried, but wondered if there is anything specific I need to do / prepare for, etc.

It’s that long since I’ve got a new (to me) phone that I can’t remember the process!

Just jump to Snapdragon s22/s23 series if you want a note experience. Pay the bit extra to get longer supported OS and security updates.

You’ll get used to life without the headphone jack and SD card lol.
