Framework•What are your major criticisms of the framework laptop?English
1·2 years agoConsider it an investment, you’ll save money in the long run if you upgrade the hardware, and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to repair. Fedora support isn’t that good according to their graph, but windows support is nice from what I’ve experienced so far with it. Maybe one criticism I have for it would be the lack of a touchscreen/stylus option? I used to own a surface and aside from the maddening hardware issues I had with it, I did enjoy stylus and touch support

Framework•Why did you buy a Framework? I'm still struggling to justifyEnglish
1·2 years agoif you have a laptop that’s perfectly usable, don’t buy it.
if you don’t, buy it, because it’ll likely be the last laptop you ever own.

Framework•When will batch 9 of the next AMD 16 inch Framework laptop ship??English
1·2 years agobatch 9’s probably early December
Ryzen 7 DIY(No ram/storage), because i can get ram and storage cheaper and better, and I bought it for use in uni.
Batch 5 feeling VERY nice
go for the kingston one, it’s not a deal breaker but it’s better than the crucial kit (very miniscule difference)
