People complain about issues with EVERY SINGLE OS UPDATE. It’s not a One UI 6 thing, or an Android thing. It happens on Windows, MacOS and iOS. Rephrase your comment to say that “some” people are and I’d agree with you.
Like anything else, people post complaints. When things work as they’re supposed to, nobody is posting “everything works!!”. They’re too busy just using their devices. Try a little harder before responding. That was lazy.

Spectrum uses Verizon’s network. Other than the name what are you concerned about?
Dig a little deeper. There is more to it than that.
Camera functions and widgets, video editing studio, updated Good Lock modules, auto blocker for USB command, etc. There was a lot of refinement put into the update. Not sure what world changing updates you were expecting? The platform is pretty mature so most changes are going to be under the hood and polish.
It has a button. I use mine all of the time.
The S8 doesn’t have UWB. Neither did my S20+. If he’s never planning to leave that phone, he will miss out on features. It’ll connect like the old ones did.

It’s a good idea. The moment data/credit card info I’d stolen it’ll be called Google’s fault. It’s like wondering why Windows XP isn’t supported anymore.
For local stuff in the house or offline, sure. Online, not worth the risk.
I had this issue. I’m on Verizon so your mileage may vary. What happened was my weak ass trial period expired (30 days) or legit visual voicemail and it stopped connecting to VVM, constantly sending notifications.
I force stopped the app and then cleared the data. Launched voicemail again and said no to paying for the non basic vvm. Notifications went away and voicemail synced normally.
There are a ton of posts complaining about it. For everyone who posted “it ruined my phone!”, just go into settings and change it back to Roboto. I think it looks fine but used a custom font for years anyway.
