Yep, i did my swap without removing anything, just lifting it up enough so i can get the old one out and the new one in.
Was fine for me at least. But yes it is a bit finnicky.

320€ - 512GB Version with an ifixit replacement fan

Upgraded from 512GB to a Sabrent Q4 2230 2TB.

Everything seems fine. Cant really say much about performance. Seems the same?

Mine is perfect. Checked for dead pixels: none, no squeeky case like my lcd, no stuck buttons and no trigger problems. With my old LCD one, i had to fix the actual triggers when i got it at launch, had a squeeky case and changed the noisy fan.

Currently swapping the 512GB with a 2TB one.

just got mine. Initial Impression -> Wow, the plastic finish is way more rough than on my old lcd one. I mean the texture.
