I wasn’t able to get the torx to check but going by the other replies that seems to be it.

Upgrading from an LCD I may just take my old backplate. If you don’t have that available there are a few options for backplates but iFixit looks closest to the original.

I am a huge victim of buyer’s remorse. I still hate that I bought a fancy towel set for $30 two weeks ago.

No regret for OLED. Gaming is one of the few “me” things I get to do and the OLED fixed every issue I had with the original (screen, fan noise, battery) and then some.

That and I have one Christmas gift down this year (the old LCD).

Are you able to tighten it to the back frame any?

Got this one back when everyone was recommending it. Great battery pack.
