Try and find one used on market place people are selling lcd steam decks they swapped 1tb hard drives into. I found one yesterday 1tb ssd and a pile of accessories for $400 that’s a deal. Other wise I would try and save a few dollars and get the rest for the OLED. OLED is just far superior

Do you just update bios when needed??

Sent mine out to get deck hd installed wifi chip upgraded and 32g ram… this is well before this OLED model came out. I’m not selling mine ever. Only time I’m replacing is steam deck 2. I’ve spent endless hours tinkering. I can’t let it go. I have my pc I play on 34” OLED. That’ll hold me over until steam deck 2 comes out

I’m still waiting on my deck hd screen… are you running steam os or another os software like bazzite?
