Weird… This sometimes appears on my iPad, but it always closes itself after a while.

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which runs Jelly Bean (4.2.2) and Google Chrome works flawlessly with it! I’ve tried several different browsers, and Chrome is the only one that worked (and it’s quite fast, too).
In a couple years I might make a “I’m switching from Samsung to a new Samsung” post… From what it looks like now, my Galaxy A20e will continue going for quite a while.
Make sure to backup/save your data, after that it’d probably be the best to just let it rest. It’s done a lot and you can be proud of that! I definitely understand all the memories you have with the tablet.
Generally speaking though, Galaxy Tabs seem to be very long-lived. I often use a 2012 Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which is still working wonderfully (runs Chrome and YouTube no problem and the camera is fantastic), but arguably it’s not been used as much. Relatives have a 2015 Galaxy Tab S2 that’s constantly been used a lot for 8 years now, which is still going strong and it isn’t going anytime soon!
Exactly. It’s all about personal preferences, there’s no need to bash anyone because of their phone choice (I’m not talking about OP, he was friendly about it. I mean in a general sense).
