I just have a couple 8bitdo sn30 pros that do great for when I wanna just swap or play some games with a friend. Pretty decent and compact - I even did BG3 on one. If you want something bigger I’ve used both an Xbox one controller and a ps4 controller and they are both good

Cthulhar@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•1TB Oled coming in today, Any advice/reccomendations for a first time user?English1·2 years agoNo, but you can just get a dongle or a dock that uses the usb-c port and plug the hdmi in directly
As someone who has the LCD 256 and went for the base OLED… it’s a much larger upgrade than steam is making it out to be. The buttons feel better, the battery life is almost an hour longer across the board for all my games, it’s quieter, cooler and just a solid upgrade. If it’s your first one just go OLED, there’s no regrets. Storage is easy to upgrade down the road
