You really shouldn’t be giving those kind of feelings much thought in the tech world, this new deck is effectively a Steam Deck 1.2, it’s not a massive improvement in performance, just extra features mainly and a bigger battery

How long ago did you buy it and was it through Steam itself? If it wasn’t too long ago you can ask support for a partial refund of what you paid vs the new sale price, people were able yo get them in the past when this happened during the Deck sales during Steam sales

Just open a support ticket and ask them, they have given out partial refunds before for people that just bought a deck before sales in the past
