You’ll have to transfer either using an external HDD / SSD via USB-C, or you can transfer wirelessly using something like Syncthing or KDE Connect.

You get points from purchasing it, but they can’t be used to buy games. They’re just cosmetic, you can buy avatars, backgrounds, avatar frames, emoticons, etc. Anything in the points shop.

You can also claim a profile bundle, and if you get the 1TB there’s also an exclusive startup movie and keyboard theme. Make sure when you get the Steam Deck you log into the account you want to claim those on as you can only claim them once. (You claim it when you have the Steam Deck in your hands, it shouldn’t matter which account purchases it).

There’s a free Steam game called ‘Aperture Desk Job’ which teaches you about the Steam Deck.

Proton lets you play Windows games on Linux.

The easiest way to mod games on Steam is through the Workshop. You can select a game, scroll down to the game info tab and there should be a workshop tab, if not it might be in the in-game menu. You can also go to desktop mode and under the community tab you can select workshop.

To enter desktop mode press the Steam button, go to power, switch to desktop. You can also hold the power button down and the same menu will open and you can switch to desktop there.

When I sold my Steam Deck I posted it on FaceBook Marketplace and listed it as cash only. The guy came to my house checked it out at the front door then gave me the money and left. You can also meet them in a public area with people like a mall or parking lot, I’m pretty sure police stations also have areas of the parking lot where it’s lit up and recorded where you’re allowed to meet with people to sell things.

I have two stuck red pixels on my screen but they’re so small I don’t even notice them while playing games and I have to actively look for them to see it so I probably wont RMA. My RB also has a sqeaking spring or something but I read that it should go away on its own.

Just got my LE today, I have two stuck red pixels, I tried using that JScreenFix website for around 10 minutes as well as a video on YouTube for 1 hour and also tried massaging the screen where the pixel was since I read people saying all of those might fix it but nothing fixed it. I still haven’t tried playing a game yet and the pixels aren’t that noticeable so I’ll have to wait and see if I notice them in games or not before I consider doing an RMA.
