Yup. This is pretty much the goal. Slow em down any way possible to keep that tech advantage.

Because it would be 5200 since thats the max officially supported speed for it even though it can run higher ram speeds.

But I think you meant what’s the best ram kit where you dont have to overclock the ram. 6000 cl30 kits would be it. Would have to make sure you select the ram profile in bios though.
