Imho the ryzen 7 is pretty much a waste of money for those who use egpu. Unless you absolutely must have a slightly better igpu

What I never understood is if you can ship to one EU destination why not all? The exact same rules and paperwork on their end apply. Good they have been forced to bend to the law. Shutting down all discussions on the topic was terrible and anti freedom of speech.
Imho 7 isn’t worth the price difference. I really wanted the extra cores but I find even running VMs the ryzen 5 was solid. Instead I run a minisforum ryzen 7 4800h for running thread heavy applications. It was cheap
Totally agree. It’s just funny seeing soo many people say it’s impossible. It’s really stable in reality. Refreshing to see actually knowledgeable people here
It’s possible and really easy. Don’t listen to misinformation from inexperienced people. DM me if you need help
Wrong on that end. As someone who’s used Windows to go since the Windows 8 days I can confidently say a along as you use good USB drives such as the framework expansion card (which are small ssds with phison controllers) your experience will be good. Running Windows 10 ltsc on To go mode on my 250gb expansion card for over a year. 0 issues. People should do their research before spreading misinformation. Performance is sata ssd level. Not everyone needs their boot drives to be nvme.
Wrong, I have windows 10 on my expansion card for over a year no issues. Need to use Rufus to install it onto the expansion card in to go mode. Just expect sata ssd performance. The framework cards are not mere cheap Flash drives as you typically find. These are very compact ssds with proper phison controllers
Typical reddit. Should be full freedom to say whatever you want a along it’s not hateful. Especially with how terrible Windows and Microsoft is now, many will be pirating. Trying to hide the discussions won’t solve anything.
The 7840U is a solid upgrade over the steamdeck along with egpu support. If you don’t need a handheld but want to game it’s a no brainer.
On a side note the AX210 is fully compatible. If neither card is working there is a issue. Double check the card is installed correctly and reseat it to be sure. Then head to bios and make sure WiFi isn’t disabled there.
Well nothing expect 5600 seems to boot anyways. Its probably coming down to cas latency
