I hate Linux, I’ve built computers for decades (yep old) and done some programming and yet I can’t under why most of my peers like Linux, it’s awful to use. So I was real worried about the deck being Linux based.
…yet I find no issue with it on the deck as it stays out of my way and doesn’t constantly require hours of tweaking to get it to work like Linux usually does.
It depends on what you want to do.
If you want “omg I want to play cod and halo!” No.
If you want to chill on the couch playing a turn based tactics, light indie, or emulate, then absolutely yes.
I work on a computer all day so I like getting g away from my desk when I game in the evenings.
Not sure if it’s considered AAA, but Midnight Suns. I have zero love for marvel, im not a fan at all, yet this game is so good (minus the silly zoomer social media stuff in it), and it runs so well on the deck, it’s a great play.
Same. The gyro is awkward and gimmicky in my opinion and I can’t stand using it for anything.
They should have included that in the instructions.
This is a good thing. Try being a warhammer 40k player, and you’ll realize how much better a company is that doesn’t instantly sell out of everything in the first 0.5 seconds to scalpers so that no actual fans can get anything without having to pay triple to scalpers on eBay. This just makes me like valve more.
An economy that doesn’t suck for the working class.
I’ve never regretted having a screen protector on any device, but I have several times regretted not having one.
Yep, well except the fan vents, of course. That’s why I like it. It acts like a grip and back case, while also protecting the front with a snap on lid when not in use. I see a lot of people putting on grips, then putting the deck inside big bulky carrying cases, but this one protects the whole unit itself.
Definitely the jsaux. Comfortable grip, doesn’t add a ton of bulk, and the front cover snaps on nicely.
My main issue has always been hunting down drivers for various pieces of hardware, then getting those drivers to actually work.
