Decky plugin to pause games, suspends the game process when you suspend the system, cured all my audio issues.

Step one: install a game you never thought you’d get to play handheld
Step two: marvel at the technology, what a time to be alive
Step three: all that other tinker shit other people tell you to fuck with
I did not experience any of the things you’re describing.
I bought two of these after reading through reviews on Amazon for a long time: I can report first hand that they work just as well as SanDisk and are the appropriate size. They may not last as long, over the lifetime of an SD card, but they’re not a scam.
Please, I can’t install Bazzite on my old Alienware, some sort of BIOS incompatibility, I need official SteamOS
Buddy of mine is finally getting a Deck now that the LCDs are getting discounted, so I’ve been sampling the various Elden Ring overhaul mods to see what would make a good co-op experience.
There are a rare handful of games that need it, stuff that needs to run specific software to fake server access for dead MMOs, that sort of thing, but that ends up feeling like a list of “maybe someday someone will solve the puzzle of how to put it on Deck,” not “valid reason to dual boot.”
The Deck has made me a Linux convert, and every day compatibility through official channels and Proton fixes gets better and better. DSMapStudio, for making FromSoft mods, now works with Proton Experimental, no extra Wine stuff needed. Compatibility only improves over time
Only for games where I’ve noticed they have a tendency to crash after coming back from suspend. Wasting 15 minutes in a hunt in MHW or Rise only to have the game crash when you get to the quest complete screen is brutal.
Conversely: I’ve been playing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands the last few days, it has a lot of stuttering when it first boots up, but no issues coming back from system resume, so I just leave it on, closing out the game is actually worse.
