From what I’ve been able to gather NCAA 14 not running is more of an RCPS3 issue than rather than being a Steam Deck specific issue.
I’ve had a laptop powerful enough to play some older AAA games as well as most indies since high school but could never justify the cost of a proper PC over a console at the time. The deck being announced and it coming at a price equal to/less than other current gen consoles while having the flexibility of a PC was what finally made making the hop to PC gaming a lot more justifiable. I do see myself eventually building a proper gaming PC, mostly to try out stuff like VR and other facets of PC gaming that don’t run well on the deck, but even without one currently the Deck has been one of the best gaming purchases I’ve ever made.
