  • Essentially what happened here is there was no actual product. They had inside info that Apple was making this move and figured they would get some free PR from it. And idiot Youtubers were dumb enough to give it to them.

Not to mention the way they wanted to accomplish this killed privacy. Insanely invasive. Nobody should trust Nothing after this, if somehow you still did. And stop listening to any Youtubers who happily carried their water this week.

in the last year ive started preferring Apple maps. It doesnt try and take me on a re route that saves 3 seconds but takes me off the highway like Google does far too often.

And one thing they flat out do better is the small detail directions in cities. Like…go past this light and turn right at the next one. Sounds like a small thing but can be a huge help in a busy city you haven’t been to before. I also prefer their on screen lane directions on busy 4+ lane highways.

  • "Apple is raising the prices of several of its services, including Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and Apple One. Apple TV Plus is going from $6.99 per month to $9.99 per month, and Apple’s other services are seeing significant hikes, too. MacRumors first spotted the changes.

Instead of $4.99 per month, Apple Arcade will now cost $6.99 per month. Meanwhile, Apple News Plus is increasing from $9.99 per month to $12.99 per month. With all three services getting price increases, that means the Apple One bundle is going up as well.

Here’s a rundown of the new pricing across Apple One’s three tiers:

    Individual: $19.95 (previously $16.95) Family: $25.95 (previously $22.95) Premier: $37.95 (previously $32.95)"
