  • Gunfire Reborn and the DLC for $24 was a pretty decent deal to me as I’ve been waiting since I missed the last sale in August. Not an all time low, but I haven’t played except on the inferior Game Pass abandoned version so excited to see the difference. So that’s what I’ll be playing!

Also likely going to pick up The Friends of Ringo ishikawa as it seems like such an interesting game especially for around $6. The dev’s newer game Fading Afternoon is interesting too but it’s still on sale at it’s normal sale price at $16.

Summum Aeterna is interesting too but it’s “on sale” price is the same as it’s original price $16 before the full release, definitely not picking up at the price as it was just $13 in June/July.

  • I hope they offer a trade in route, maybe Black Friday/Cyber Monday special bonus value or something seeing as it’s online only but really just wishful thinking. I’d rather not deal with the hassle of selling online and being without a Deck until the OLED arrives. Might just have to wait for the first official sale until I jump in. I was definitely not super interested as I had an OLED switch but then I saw it can play 90fps and I play primarily indie/roguelikes so that would be EXCELLENT.

  • A bunch. I play a lot of roguelikes and can easily get 3-10 hours into multiple games a week if they catch my interest enough. Here’s a few I can’t put down except to switch between them:

    Dome Keeper 10+ hours

Nova Drift 2+ hours(picked it up yesterday and I’m enthralled)

Backpack Hero 3+ hours( got it yesterday with the 1.0 release wow it’s good!)

Oblivion Override 8+(Dead Cells like that I love right now)

Wall world 2+( want more hours as it’s great),

Peglin 3+ hours, Dredge 10+, ahem >!BaD 25+!< cough, Dave the Diver 10+, Voidigo 6+.

Astral ascent and Roboquest both got a 1.0 update and I foresee they will get 10+ hours when I get to them, both patiently waiting in my library for their chance.

  • I used Facebook Marketplace to acquire my 512gb back in April-ish. Traded my switch OLED with extras straight up for it. Simple as meetup at a public location (we met at one with a police officer that is there round the clock) and were both on our way within 5 minutes satisfied with our trade.

That being said, I did have like 5 fools try to offer me $100/$150, a Retroid Pocket 2( I already had a 2+and 3+), and a fridge. I clearly stated trade for Steam Deck or cash only. A fridge was offered to me…for pick up.
