I have AppleCare I took it in this evening. All they could do was send it away. I opted to keep it for now hoping a fix is released soon.

An update to the watchOS issue. I deleted MobyFace and Watchy apps from the watch at the recommendation of another user on the Apple support forum. It has solved the battery drain issue on my watch. Assume something in 10.1 has changed causing the app to constantly use the processor.
