This post isnt even talking about a problem, its talking about a difference.
Fans are louder than the buttons. I cant say i even know what the buttons sound like tbh, effectively silent
Steams refund policy is amazing, if you have the money at all you can just buy it, try it out and as long as you havent played for 2 hours or more youll get refunded. Just used that trick to test hogwarts legacy performance.
Not always, but youd be a fool not to for tripple a games. Be a bit silly to stream stardew valley for example imo.
Not hard at all, steam has inbuit methods to do exactlt that. If your pc is on and connected to the same network with steam open, on your steamdeck the game should say stream instead of play
Now you listen here bucko, if youre replying to someone you hit the reply button under their comment.
Oled for sure, simpler games like stardew valley, terraria, shovel knight etc will net you potentially 10 hours of battery compared to 7 on lcd. Not to mention for less demanding games like that, youll be able to make good use of the 90hz screen.
This is entirely subjective but personally my laptop feels like an internet or productivity machine, where the steamdeck is entirely gaming, helps me to keep them seperate
Happens to me all the time, you need to hold the power button for longer than you think.
You will need to make sure to close your games fully and let the cloud save upload. Rather than just hitting suspend
Tbh If its an rgb led as opposed to an only white one it would be so nice to have an option to have the light always on showing your battery state
Its when the displays frequency (number of times a second the screen changes) is exactly divisible by the framerate of the game, for example 30fps on a 60 hz screen would have each individual frame displayed for 2 screen refreshes. 30fps on a 90hz display would mean each frame stay on screen for 3 screen refreshes.
Probably 60/40 favouring docked, qhen im at home i plug in but I play on work breaks handheld
They absolutely can be but for example a hello kitty bundle wouldnt be worth it. All about your tastes and if theyve got a good bundle for you
Make a small list of games you would play, then roll a dice. Key is to stick with it
I havent got my oled dwck yet but comparing the switch to the switch oled. Go for the oled, the display will blow you away alot more than being able to store more games will. You can only play one game at a time, but youre always using the screen.
I heard theres some software kerfuffle needed to make the 1200p screen work? Is that the case, if so how often and easy is it?
Almost all the games I play work great. Theres just the borderlands franchise that i cant seen to work with sleep, constant dissconnects
