Can confirm as well… Happening on my new LE OLED.
Both of mine feel the same on my OLED, but very different from my LCD. My LCD sticks had a dry, almost textured feel on top (that did develop the “white dust” look over time). My new LE OLED sticks have a very sticky, rubbery feel to them. I’m getting used to it, but it’s still rather odd.
I received the LE. BOE panel but thankfully no dead/stuck pixels.
Seems like all LEs may have gotten BOE panels based on reports, and it’s just a lottery if each unit has any dead pixels or not.
I’m now curious how the BOE panels compare to the Samsung panels, image-quality wise. But as it stands I love this screen, it looks absolutely gorgeous.
This is my experience as well, setting the in-game FPS to “unlimited” and then turning on in-game Vsync. While setting the FPS cap in SteamOS and enabling “allow tearing” (turning off SteamOS Vsync). This provides the smoothest image while also minimizing input latency.
