Runaque@alien.topBtoLaptops•It's annoying how people say just buy a Lenovo when the options don't include them.English

1 year agoI bought a Lenovo two years ago, solid machine and never issues with it, but I eventually upgraded to a Gigabyte A5 to be able to run Stable Diffusion. I still have the Lenovo and it will become my 9 year old daughter’s first laptop.
The only thing I can say about my Lenovo is that it has two “R” caps on the keyboard and no “P”, a funny mistake from out of the factory, but you won’t notice until you have to look for your keys while typing (I do this blindly).
Seems about an average price for systems with those specs! The OS you can easily install yourself by making an installer drive on a USB stick on the system you have at the moment.
If you want a SD car reader, those are cheap on Aliexpress and if you want an optical drive, you can always pull one out of an older laptop and shove that into a cheap external enclosure.
