In a handheld device efficiency is the key factor to it being a good or bad device. What’s the point of having a massive screen that pushes 1080 pixel resolutions if you’re reaching for the battery every hour. At that point buy a laptop or get a decent mid range PC for the Go price.
It was never going to be a situation of selling out. Valve don’t work like that. I imagine they have a purchase cap, and once the North American territories reach that, the remaining will go to the EU and other counties where the deck is offered.
Currently, but that steam deck OLED. If the reviews are to be believed. It should win almost hands down just on efficiency alone
I think the point is, they want to make this a nod to themselves and long time fans of the company rather than link it to any of their specific games. Which is really cool because if it really is a nod to the old valve logos that pretty damn cool in my opinion
If think if that had done the Hev suit, I think they would have made some other subtle touches to half life, like perhaps some grey accents from that suit or used the Half life logo as the “A” in steam logo on the back.
I thought it was red, isn’t it a node to the old Valve logo that has the blab guy with the red valve coming out of his head?
That 7800XT sapphire card is shocking powerful! I wasn’t expecting the level of performance that I’ve been getting from it! And for a dual fan car it’s not cool but for 76 degrees in 4K pushing 100+ frames on most of my games at the highest presets! That far exceeds my expectations
AMD this generation is the clear winner on the gaming side which is great because it is something we have all needed in the industry.
But you cannot build a competitive system for overall specs and features offerings for a decent prince in comparison to what the offering on Intel can be. Which for people that are looking to continue on the all AMD builds and continue to have the same productivity offerings and gaming performance this 7000 series generations just isn’t for us. It is a tad frustrating.
