That game got a lot of hate but I loved it. I also played it in the most perfect time in my life to play it. Most of my friends were moving away to college while I was too broke to do that and too stupid to get scholarships. It was a very lonely experience and death stranding was extremely cathartic. Just me, my packages, and the post apocalyptic wilderness connecting a broken world. Very fun.

Absolutely. I’ve been kinda falling off when it comes to gaming. I didn’t really want to accept it but it was true. The steam deck has brought me right back in. I think a big component is I really love YouTube. So when I sit at my desk I’m way more tempted to watch YouTube for an hour rather than play a game. With the deck I don’t have the option. It’s a game machine so if I pick up the deck I’m going to play some games. It’s definitely brought me back in. I feel like a kid again. I’m looking up gaming related wikis on my free time again like I used to. It’s great!
Stripestar@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•Anyone else prefer the Deck without any accessories?English1·2 years agoTbh the only thing I got for my handhelds growing up was a case to put them in. I feel the same way about my deck but I’m perfectly happy with the case that comes with the deck. It’s rigid but not overly bulky. It’s a size to chuck in a backpack.
Thank you for what you do 🤙
Damn, scalpers have made purchasing hardware such a nightmare that when something is in stock for 8+ hours, people think that means it isn’t “limited edition”. What a shit show we’ve got.
Sports games. I used to love them as a kid. You could boot in and play with friends. It was so much fun back then. Now the menus are all confusing, I have to earn or buy players, it’s just a dlc riddled mess. I don’t touch them anymore and haven’t for a while.
For me it’s pretty good. Infinitely more comfortable than a switch. Slightly less comfortable than an Xbox controller. I have long skinny fingers. That combined with the way I hold the deck puts some pressure on my ring fingers that’s not entirely comfortable but it’s alright. I just have to remember to shift how I hold the controller.
