Ultra 2 user here too, updated from 10.0 to 10.1 on Wednesday (just got my watch Monday last week) and noticed a substantial increase in battery life as well. Wonder if it helped mostly Ultra 2 battery life over the rest of the lineup or something. Seems like a lot of people are having issues with battery life decreasing on the regular series or ultra 1 since the update.

  • Comes in handy when I’m working on something around the house and I want to skip a song, or if I want to check the weather without taking out my phone, using it to set timers since I like to leave my phone at my desk when I’m working at home. Stuff like that.

I remember there used to be more Apple Watch apps before, but I’ve never really found a huge use for a lot of them, most of my usage comes from the first party Apple apps or Spotify really. I do use the health features a lot though, so apps like activity or workouts, heart rate, blood oxygen, etc… I also find myself using the remote camera app a lot more often now that double tap is out.

  • Ah, completely understandable, I wouldn’t want to have to restart my band collection again either.

Battery life is what pushed me over the edge, I considered if I’m going to be using the watch over the next five years again or more, at least I won’t have to worry as much when the battery does degrade in health. Ending my days with about 70% left now even with a workout and AOD on, it’s pretty fantastic! I could probably get way more life if I turned AOD off though.

Also complete side note! Saw you also like animal crossing!!! :D
