My speed is definitely better on the OLED than it was on the awful WiFi on the LCD. I still find it almost never has full signal, even when I’m 2m from the router unobstructed half the time one bar will be greyed out.

I’m dying for HDR streaming to come via Sunlight/Moonlight and Xcloud/home streaming.
Dave the Diver. Highly recommend. Overstayed its welcome just a little for me but I think they’ve added some content updates since.
The main loop is diving twice to hunt fish/items and then a dinner-rush restaurant mini-game. It keeps adding little mechanics to keep things fresh as the game progresses. It’s only downfall is because so many mechanics are added some of the mechanics added become chores after a while since they can be shallow. They’re not very time consuming though.
Reminds me of the Underground Digger game back on new grounds. As you progress you keep reaching deeper and discover new things, get new goals etc.
Got £319 for my 512gb LCD from a CEX (brick and Mortar shops reselling games/dvds/electronics). They dropped their price to £183 the day after I booked my Deck in but the price is valid you booked is valid for 3 days.
I only paid £400 for my Deck so an £81 loss for a year of use isn’t bad.
Ordered mine 7 hours after launch. Just got a Parcelforce email saying it’d be delivered on Monday. First I’ve heard since it left GLS on Wednesday.
I purchased at 1:30am. Mine left the parcel centre 22nd at 15:50. Guess it’s not entirely linear based on order times.
Congrats, I hope you find a top.
Given the thin margins the hardware must be running on can you blame them? I’m sure finding cheap mass delivery was part of getting the pricepoint to a level they’re happy with.
Better WiFi excites me the most. WiFi on the LCD felt terrible to me, downloads were slow and it was always weak signal even near the router. I intend to use Moonlight a lot too, so important to me.
There is limited separation but there is a left/right speaker. Given how close you hold it though you can definitely tell when one sound is coming from your left or right in a game. I wouldn’t say it’s great for 360 imaging, better put on headphones if you’re looking to sweat a little in multiplayer.
You and me both, though I ordered like 1am on the 17th. 7 hours after launch so expect as much.
Uk, still packaged. Though I waited until early hours the 17th to order when it said 6-10 business days. This is business day 2 :)
Assphalt
It’s my single biggest gripe for both Steamdeck and Gamepass.i have Gamepass until the end of 2026 so I’d hope it’s resolved by then!
Thanks. I had to start my deck with the drive in for it to be recognised.
