The parcel was handed over to GLS.

The parcel data was entered into the GLS IT system; the parcel was not yet handed over to GLS.
Left the warehouse on Monday afternoon with GLS. Still “In Transit”. Perhaps its having a nice holiday before it comes to the UK.
Mine has been in transit since Monday and only just reached the delivery depot last night.
