Nope it works flawlessly for me. Maybe your NFC chip got damaged by wireless charging, there was a big problem with BMWs killing iPhone 15 NFCs.

Anyway it’s covered by warranty, just get it to an Apple Store and it will be sorted for free.

Got to Settings and search for “Action button”. You will be able to choose between Flashlight (it’s called Torch), Camera and a bunch of other stuff.

I use it for flashlight. It’s way better than fumbling on the screen at night when I need to turn it on quickly. That’s the best use I could find.

It’s a hardware thing not IOS but Face ID is miles ahead of any Android alternative. Like it’s so much better there is no comparison.
