As a long time PC gamer it’s great investment to carry some of my games with me, and even for new PC gamer who just wants to get into it, I think with a dual boot set up it’s a great deal.
If you’re a new buyer, I strongly reccommend you understand it is a bit of a time sink to get it up and running how you want. Think about the games you wanna play and see how they usually fair on SteamOS.
The only game I have had any issues with is Destiny 2, and any game with an anti cheat built into it. Beyond that, most games run ok.
